> Sar - Are you a janis joplin wannabe? (no southern comfort eh?) Bob Dylan and Janis Joplin were 2 of my real favorites along with Jim Morrison, whom I did see live. Unfortunately only 1 is still with us. I'm insanely jealous that you got to go to a Bob Dylan concert.

Mair,

you make me laugh...i'm nothing like janis joplin in real life! i only wish that i could wail like her. if i could sing "farewell song" or "flower in the sun" just like her, i don't think i'd be depressed anymore. or "summertime"...

i'll have to try southern comfort though... ;)

i just have oldskool taste when it comes to music, for the most part...though lots of new stuff too...have you heard of Ryan Adams (NOT "Bryan." Ryan.)? he's been called "the next Bob Dylan"...aside from being lead singer of Whiskeytown, he does solo albums as well, and they are heartbreakingly good.

from what i've read, Janis lived an incredibly unstable life...i'm not that wild...i admire her 'cos she had such a rebellious spirit, fabulous wardrobe, and she went to the same college as me. (yeh, she went to college!)

love,
sar
