Can mirtazapine (Remeron) cause increased anxiety?

Hi. I am on 30 mg mirtazapine and I find it activating (passed the sedative first days effect)but in an anxious way.
I also have increased tinnitus like with fluoxetine.
I also have increased blood pressure.
