The brand I bought, I can't remember right now, (it is way downstairs in my kitchen..I am lazy to get out of bed.lol) but it was pricey, and it did say on the bottle that is was able to cross the blood-brain barrier. I definitely think I have triggered a bit of it's MAOI properties, because when I have taken it later in the evening, I have trouble sleeping, and I feel a bit 'jazzed'. But the anti-inflammatory properties are awesome for me, because I very, very often get swollen muscles in neck, swollen throat glands, tension headaches, tense hand, arm, leg muscles...and on and on. Especially during bad depressive episodes. I have to eat half a bottle of Ibuprofen just to walk! I was told I likely have Fibro by a nurse friend of mine. So. yeah, I think it is the combination. Knock on wood..lol.
