I was on the phone with Pfizer yesterday to get the scoop on the shortage. Actually I called Green𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞 Pharmacy (Pfizers genetic manufacturer of Nardil) first who helped locate a drug store that had Nardul in stock. The Greenstone rep transferred me Directly to Pfizer and I spoke with a man who said it will be available in July. During my conversation with him I mentioned someone I heard about that was bedridden for 7 months as a result of not having any Nardil . He thought I should speak with the Safety dept which I did. I gave her slot of my history related to Nardil and how the drug is a lifeline for me and many Others. She was unfamiliar with the drug, as many are, as it is rarely used. She listened, asked me a lot of standard questions as she was typing into a program that had Very specific information she needed to ask. I did feel she got the seriousness of what I told her could be people killing themselves as I knew the effects of being without the drug.
Also, There are 2 Facebook groups dealing with the shortage and a petition to fill out in Reddit. The Facebook group is called Nardil/Phenelzine, so go there to read about everyone facing the shortage worldwide and sign the petition. Ken Gillman Is involved and I think started the petition.
