In reply to Bupropione as needed for cognitive boost?, posted by Lamdage22 on February 22, 2020, at 1:39:00
i dunno. the big problem with bupropion, according to my current treatment provider, is more exacerbating anxiety and/or a bit of jittery-making, not so much causing psychosis.
i did a quick Google-ing, and it looks like she's spot on...its been used with OK results (I mean, for an antidepressant) in chronic Schizophrenia, both for mood issues and for smoking cessation.
honestly, my -big- concern for you, personally...and this is just me, speaking as a complete non-expert, throwing things out there...
would be potential drug-drug interactions. antidepressants tend to boost neuroleptic blood levels. many neuroleptics boost antidepressant blood levels.
