that is defiently because of trazadone, i've been on it, and it is...antidepressant but it is so sedating they use it mainly for sleep. THere is a form of trazadone that is a extended release that works during the day, but i don't see how someone could tolerate the ssedation, maybe for severe anxiety trazadone during the day would help.
Lexepro is potent SSRI so definently there is some bumped up serotonin levels. I take nuvigil, but i've taken it so long that i kinda got used to the effects, provigil is more perky and makes you talk more, nuvigil more mental focus and alertness
maybe ask your doctor for a add on, like bupropion or something. Trazadone is very sedating, they use it in rehabs and some hospitals for sleep, due to it's low to almost zero abuse/addiction potential
