FWIW I had a thing for bottles of Robitussin (dextromethorphan) for a few years. It was quite effective for my moods. Used in combo w/ lamictal which I happened to be taking the "tripping" effect was blunted and it really just kinda detached me enough to be comfortable.
I think it's a good drug but not the way I was using it. If properly studied and doesed I think it could be good.
Sad thing is they'll probably charge a billion dollars for this "new" drug when the 2 generics would be a couple bucks. That's how it went w/ Nudexda :( Never tried that but my father benefited from it behavior/mood-wise in the last few years of his battle w/ Alzheimers.
The NMDA receptor meds are exciting for me....I seem to respond well to them.....hoping for the next batch to come.
