the lamictal and zyprexa takes care of agitation and irrtibility....and defiently will calm hyperactivty in the brain, but see this is the thing....from my belief is it's not the way to treat it....it's a dopamine problem....and the mood stablizers are ionizing nuerotrannsmitters, yet it's not treating the direct problem for the ADHD dopamine thing....
it does make me leveled out....but with lamictal at 400mg makes me vary passive....it does help with the mood with prozac....that's the only benefit it plays is with mood enhacement....not dopamine/motivation/stimulant enhancement....it makes me in a better mood to do work, instead of having psychomotor stimulation from classic amphetamine stimulant.....
i will have to adjust all this with the doctor....
the zyprexa zones me to sleep at night.....it's sedating....but it is good, i've taken zyprexa for years....and finally it was increased to 20mg's....i was on 30mg's for a 6 months but it caused me to jerk, and studder over my words....it was tartive dsyk...problem, i had to move down on the dose....
the only benefit i get from zyprexa and lamictal is decresed hyperactivty and passiveness, my attention span is lower....but still my attention span is bad even without these medications....but they cause the firing in the brain to lower.....
so.....ill get out of this, ill work with the doctor but until then learn how to deal with life with the current medicines....
thanks for the posting:)
