yes....its a crazy thing, but the mood stablizer i've been prescibed is high, yes, and all it does is level out my moods, and sometimes be on cloud 9 with the zyprexa.....this is the EXACT opposite of a stimulant, but it does regulate some of my irrtibity moods.....it does level them out, but it spaces me out....i have to use extra effort, but maybe it's best for right now, i take Nuvigil 250mgs....and that's the only stimulant i can take, so ... it's not all the doctor's fault because all my psych reports distinctly said i had schizoeffective, then another one directly said i had schizophenia....which i know is not true, maybe tiny bits of it but nothing say it's truely
but i do have to give the doctor credid because they used other medications, they don't believe i have ADD because they know of my past substance abuse of it, yet i've grown out of that stage, i am prone to take more and more, yet alot of people do that, my case is just well known for it, and i've disclosed it to babblers here....
concerta definetly woulld help but you see the only thing, is my only thing i can use right now is the lamictal and zyprexa for suppressing hyperactivty but it ZONES me out, makes me vary passive, and attention span is lowered.....it's crazy, i know, the only thing for the ADD part is Prozac and Nuvigil...maybe i need to cut the lami. and zypre. off....
they diagnosed me with mania, because of my hyperactity in the thoughts, and let me say, it was ADHD, yet they didnt believe me, and thought i just wanted amphetamine stimulant....that's what happened, so have to accept it and move on.....ill have to work with the doctor furthur more, the medicines do work, but their kinda not needed, it does help with irrtibility....but it's not a main treatment
