Hi All,
I am taking Wellbutrin SR 450mg daily along w/ Lexapro 10mg daily. I have been struggling to lose some weight that I gained while on Seroquel about 6 months ago. I am going to the gym 4-5x/week along with personal training and group personal training, and watching my diet, limiting simple carbs, etc. However, It is very difficult for me to lose weight (more so fat, not that concerned about pounds.) With all of this (plus the high dosage of wellbutrin) I would expect that the fat would come off easier but it's not. And, I was sick for a week and couldn't go to the gym, and gained back a couple pounds. So, if I go off the "plan" for even just a few days I'm right back to where I was. Could the Lexapro be the cause of this inability to lose weight (or rather , difficulty losing weight?) The Pdoc said Lex "could" do it, but didn't want to change it because we had changed meds a lot in the past 6-8 months.
Thanks for your input.
P.S. - I also take a whole food multivitamin for Men, High EPA/DHA FIsh Oil and a Vitamin D3 supplement daily.
