As mentioned previously I am currently taking nardil, I am going on about 1 1/2 of 45mgs/day. I don't think I have noticed any positive benefits from the med yet, but I know that it is still soon in the process. However, I have noticed an increase in my heart rate. I am dealing with anxiety that I'm contributes to the problem, but the hr is elevated to some degree even when I'm not actively having bad anxiety. I told my doctor about this and he mentioned that nardil's metabolites can mirror something like adderall and that could be the cause of my increased hr. Has anybody had a similar experience? Also, I am taking nardil primarily for persistent and sometimes particularly debilitating anxiety, which seems to bring on depression. My doctor swears that nardil is the most effective medicine for anxiety. If that is the case what kind of time frame am I likely looking at before seeing these benefits?
