Any psychoactive drug can cause cognitive impairment. The risk is even there with drugs supposedly good for cognitive impairment. You just never know. Everyone's chemistry and underlying problems are so different. Me, a mere 1mg of lexapro gave severe cognitive impairment. Years ago when I had gotten it up to 5mg and then 10mg I was walking dumb. But for someone else it may make them feel sharper and better. You just have to listen to what your body is telling you.
