I have been thinking about trying Nardil for generalized social anxiety for a while, and have read a bunch of stuff about it (some of it here -- thank you all for your posts).
This week I finally took the plunge. A couple weeks before taking it, I started exercising 5x/wk and did Phase I of the South Beach diet. I'm hoping that I will be able to continue exercising and eating low carb, and that this will translate into less weight gain.
In general, I'm trying to do what I can to minimize side effects. So as of the moment, I'm:
-exercising
-on Phase II of South Beach
-eating a bowl of high fiber cereal daily
-drinking green tea in the morning
-taking fish oil capsules
-gonna add a vitamin B supplementAll of which I have read are good things to do, for various reasons?
What do you guys think? What other stuff should I be doing or not doing?
Do you think the timing of medication matters, or the pace at which you increase the dose?
Thanks again to all of you and to Dr. Bob for the tons of information that I have already gotten from this forum. Any additional info is icing on the cake (oops, I mean, sugar-free dressing on the high protein salad) :-)
