Given the half-life, I would assume it's fine to take 10mg at once. I suffer from insomnia anyway, but don't recall it making my sleep any *worse*. I've read studies where it enhanced sleep quality . . .
One dude (a med student) posting on the ADD forums has said that, given the drug's ridiculous half-life, it's vital that you dose at the same time each day, and try to maintain a stable sleep/wake schedule.
