I used to have bizarre and extreme episodes of rage and was almost constantly irritable. In short, I was a real b***ch. SSRI's really helped with that irritability and anxiety I almost constantly felt. But then I got severely depressed and SSRIs or SNRIs didn't help at all. But parnate was like a miracle drug for me. Two days on it (after a 10 day washout of drugs that weren't really helping anyway) and I was a new person. The washout period is something you have to consider carefully -- if the old drugs aren't working, why worry about being off them for a couple of weeks? If they are still working, that's another story.
