APs have never turned me into a zombie. I don't think this is a common experience with APs. Just this board tends to have more negative experiences than the norm. When I took risperdal, I felt normal for the first time in my life. I was always tense or anxious or angry or stressed and irritable. And suddenly, I felt okay and realized that this is how most people feel most of the time.
