I find it awesomely inspiring when someone with a debilitating ailment finally finds a cure. Sometimes these cures come from mainstream practices, sometimes from experimental and unorthodox, and sometimes by accident.
There are thousands of miracle stories on youtube. I think if I ever found my magic cure I would post it on youtube also. It is a common technique that people receive payments when onlookers click on advertising links on their youtube page, or people use the video as a disguised selling tool. I've seen a lot of those, but I have also seen a lot of genuine authentic stories which is how mine would surely be.
It's too bad the statistics do not back up ECT as well as this one person's account does. Remissions are not that common, and lasting remissions even rarer. But the part about "second chance" is true. Even with my own ECT failure, it did indeed give me a second chance. Sort of like an end to one chapter and the beginning of a new one.
