I have no explanation for what is happening to you biologically. However, I wonder if adding a stimulant or Wellbutrin might help.Alexanderfromdenmark might be right. However, intuitively, I find it hard to believe that your asthenia would begin immediately upon the exposure to a drug if it were just a matter of reduced GH or testosterone secretion; this, despite the observation that SSRIs can indeed reduce GH and testosterone levels. I could be wrong. I would love to see some data on this.
In any event, asthenia is listed as a side effect of SSRIs.
