It would not be the end of the road, but rather, a fork in the road with a brand new highway to explore that does not have the name Antipsychotic Boulevard on it. It has seemed obvious for a long time your psychosis and depression are not the kind that will be helped with the antipsychotic class of drugs or mood stabilizers. I don't know why I am the only one that can see that, since it has been proven by process of total elimination of all contenders.
I want Seroquel to prove me wrong. But if it doesn't, the path is clearly not Antipsychotic Boulevard.
What would it be? Well, if one were to explore case studies on the web and pubmed of stories like yours, the Tricyclics deserve a look. In my own opinion, based on your reactions to antibiotics and antivirals, infectious disease needs to be on the agenda right up there with psychiatric symptoms. Not one or the other, not one more than the other, but both, as they probably are twins.
But that's just me and pure logic looking at the evidence placed on the table. What do I know.
