After consulting multiple websites in English and French with info about this drug, I decided to give it a try base on my condition of excessive fatigue most likely related to my occupation. (Second and third shifts driver and costumer service employee)
For the last few months I've try everything from small and healthy meals every two hours, energy drinks and caffeine pills every 4 hours but nothing work. I must say that I typically get between 6 and 8 hrs of decent sleep, but it never seems to be enough. When time allows me, I sleep 14 or 18 hours straight.
My evenings typically go from moody and unable to focus to very sleepy while driving when making deliveries (around 3 am to 5am, 6 days a week)
I got the OLMIFON from antiaging-systems.com with no problems. Within 7 days I had my order deliver to my address in Chicago and I started the self treatment a day after according to directions on the box.
For the first two weeks I took ONE pill a day right after waking up. In fact, since I read that it takes up to 90 minutes for the pills to make full effect, I woke up an hour earlier to my regular time, took the pill and went back to sleep for another hour, hopping to wake up again fresh and renewed.
I most say that the day I started taking this pills I stopped taking any other form of caffeine, energy drinks and even supplements like vitamins and anti-oxidants. I'm 38yo, I don't drink or smoke and I am in a good physical condition.
After 14 days of a pill a day, I DID NOT NOTICED ANY BENEFITS. My days were just as always, tired, sleepy, moody, etc.
By the day 15 I increased the dose to 2 pills right after waking up.
After 14 days in a two pills a day (28 days all together since I started) I have not seen any mayor improvements.-Definitely zero improvements in my ability to remain focus. (NOT AN "SMART PILL" HERE)
-My mood fluctuates just as usual.
-I feel tired as usual while working in a repetitive activity like working on the computer and filling up paper work.
-Definitely less sleepy when driving in the middle of the night. I could
never done this with out an energy drink or caffeine pills, but this drug does not make much of a difference. (Remember I never mixed Olmifon with any caffeine or other drinks or supplements)-When the time to sleep finally comes, I definitely feel less tired than usual. I don't just "pass-out" as I used to and typically get to fall sleep withing 10 min. of closing my eyes.
-Waking up is nothing different that always has been. I have trouble to finally leave the bed and I much rather sleep longer if I could. (even after I took the pills right after opening my eyes with an empty stomach) With the caffeine pills was the opposite. If I had them after waking up, withing 5 minutes I would feel refreshed and active, too bad they cause so much of dry mouth and irritability.
In general I don't see any benefits in taking this drug. In my case, no improvments to my condition of fatigue and sleepiness was noticed.
No side effects neither (as a right now). With out modifying my diet, I did not experience any changes in my weight or appetite.I DID experience an increase in the so call "Day Dreams". At time I felt a little bit like my brain was sleeping and dreaming while I was engage in low demanding activities. (Like driving)
Since I continue taking the pills up to now, it is unknown to me if there will be "crash" ones I stop.
I still looking for an alternative and I plan to talk to my doctor about Modafinil and Provigil that promise to work much much efficiently.
