Can someone answer this question?

Posted by Jimmyboy on September 23, 2009, at 9:51:50

Hi I have a relatively simple question , for some reason I have not been able to find a straight forward answer out there and have not had any luck asking in previous posts?>

Q: Do 5ht2a antagonists inherntly cause drowsiness? Is the 5ht2a blocking action what is actually causing the sedation or is this some other component of drugs like cyprohepadine, trazodone, nefazodone?

Anyway, I had success with nefazodone in the past on in as far as that it completely abolished panic attacks and most anxiety, did nothing for depression. But everytime I have tried to take it again the sedation hits me like a hammer and I can not continue to take it.

Just curious,

thanks to all
