There is a danger of precipitating mania with such a combination, so having an AP on board prior to initiating a tricyclic might be prudent if there is a propensity for mania. Solian is worth a look at. If your response to Solian is transient, then you might want to consider trying Abilify in its place.
Currently, I am taking:
Parnate 80mg
nortriptyline 150mg
Lamictal 200mg
lithium 600mgI recently discontinued Abilify. So far, it has been an unremarkable event - which is a good thing.
