I'm a 39 y/o woman. I've been taking Celexa (20mg/day) for about three years now. It seems to work better than the other antidepressants I've tried. But I've gained 20 lbs. (125 to 145 lbs.) in the past three years. Using online BMI calculators and stuff, I am now entering the overweight category. I was 125 lbs for at least 20 years without dieting or even thinking about food. So the only thing that explains my 20 lbs. weight gain is the Celexa. I know I should be thankful there's a med that is helping keep depressive episodes fewer and farther between. But when should I think about trying Wellbutrin or another more weight-neutral med? Thanks for any thoughts!
