No, no blood pressure meds -- my normal BP is about 90/60, so a "blood pressure" med for me would probably RAISE it so that I didn't fall down so much...
TCAs are notorious for a lot of side effects, including weight gain. Desipramine is supposed to be pretty weight/blood pressure neutral, if that helps. For weight gain, you might talk to your doctor about medications to mitigate it. Sometimes an acid reducer helps, other times other medications -- like Topomax -- can help.
