I took a very low dose of Sinequan many years ago for pain. I couldn't tolerate it, because it lowered my blood pressure too much, and the dose was below therapeutic for depression, anyway, so I can't tell you whether it was effective.
It's a tricyclic, hits NE and 5HT, as well as some of the histamine receptors and I think acetylcholine. I know I've heard of it being well tolerated, and I can't help but think it won't raise blood pressure... The generic name is doxepin, if that helps you at all.
If you haven't tried a tricyclic, it's probably well worth trying.
