Hi Declan,

Yes, I went down to 2 doses of Tianeptine per day instead of 3. The jitters were still there and the med was losing it's AD-effect.

So now I've upped it again to 3 per day and just recently (since Saturday) added the Buspar (2x 10 mgs). So far it's calming me down and making me sleep a heap better.

I've only recently discovered that Tianeptine has an agonistic effect on the dopamine system. This explains the increase in anxiety for me. I had the same with Bupropion (Wellbutrin). If I would have known this before hand, I'm not sure I would have started the Tia. However, it's depression quenching properties are so marvellous I won't give it up without a fight first.

What I'm however mostly worried about is what the effect of Tia and Buspar will have together. Cancel each other out? Strengthen each other? Turn me into a fat pig? Strangulate my libido?

I hope someone can shed some light on this.

Thanks,
Maria
