Yea, i'm hardcore as far as doing it every day, sitting 18-20 inches away, and for 45 mins every morning, but i don't look directly at it. The instructions warn you to not look directly at the light as it can cause eye damage, specifically cateracts. I would definitely give it another try if i were you.
