Lithium and water (H20)

how many glasses of water should one drink per day if you take lithium? I take 900 mg every night. I drink half a pint of water when I wake up but after that it is mainly tea and coffee and coke. Will drinking more water make me less irritable and agitated? I am also coming off Zyprexa and my sleep is suffering - only get about four hours of sleep a night :-( I guess I need to cut down on the caffeine?
