I knew someone here would know something about it. I can't really explain the net result but 1 tablet tore through my mind over many, many months. my guess is solian binds with the receptors in an irreversible manner, causing a permanent change in brain chemistry. 1 toxic dose high enough to trigger eps seems to be enough.

there is some truth to what you say, it was the single most traumatic event of my life, 6 months of hell from 1 tablet, and every other experience in my life pales into insignificance by comparison. even so, i still feel these strange sensations although i don't think there is anything that can be done about it.> I agree w/ you on the meds issue...docs tend to push less effective, more expen$ive and potentially dangerous meds before meds that are proven safe and effective, but have a little bit of addiction potential (which probably stems from the fact that they *work* and don't make patients feel like s**t).

couldn't have said it better myself!
I mean if benzos, barbituates, morphine or methodone knock down a psychosis I say bring it on :) who said being medicated for mental illness had to be an unpleasant experience?ME
