There are no metabolites of amisulpride that would still be in your body 6 months later - amisulpride is excreted unchanged in urine and has a half life of 12 hours. How much were you taking? I can't really explain why your pdoc expected you to have a bad reaction to amisulpride. If you imported it into the US he may simply be one of those American pdocs that are suspicious of European psychopharmacology and that may have colored your own perception of the drug.
Sometimes EPS can last long after the drug is withdrawn and you may need treatment with an anticholinergic drug. Benadryl (diphenhydramine) can often give relief from these symptoms. High dose fish oil is said to help with lingering EPS problems.
I had a good experience with amisulpride each time I tried it, but EPS are a risk with all APs. Someone else contacted me about six months ago through RemedyFind with the same problem - was it you?
