In reply to the clock reads 1:11 - 2:22 - 4:44, posted by bkdog on August 8, 2006, at 9:01:56
Human beings can be quite good at calculating time intervals, maybe subconsciously you are counting to these time events. Perhaps becuase you think they have special significance or maybe because it happened randomly once or twice and the idea stuck. As far as I remember synchronicity is when events which have special meaning to you or that you thought about happen, the classic example is thinking about someone and then they phone. Another thing to consider are ideas of reference, these are when we think that something fairly random has a specific meaning meant just for us. Ie a billboard message, newspaper story or a car number plate. I get ideas of reference and events of synchronicity and deja vu alot. I dont think you are crazy. I think the mostly likely explanation is that you have attached some significance to these time events and subconciously set an internal alarm clock. People do things like this all the time eg many of us wake just before the alarm clock if we have some special reason to like an exam or meeting.
Just my opinion Bunny
