Glitter,
I was on Adderall XR 20 mg in the AM. I didn't want to stop all my meds but in order to try Marplan (MAO) again I had to stop Celexa, Wellbutrin and Adderall. Now I miss it and believe it helped me with managing overwhelming
demands of life. I really believe my depression comes from the inability to handle stressful events, something along the lines of not being able to turn my brain off or even slow it down. I overreact to everything and lose the ability to ignore stuff that used to not bother me. I start sleeping less, talk about work nonstop, cannot relax because my mind never stops. Sometimes I can see what's starting to happen and sometimes I don't and I end up in a major depression.

So what I' finding is that even though I haven't been diagnosed w ADD, Adderall helps my brain sort through all the crap and helps me priotize things so that they don't overwhelm me altogether.

Just thought I'd give you some info on what Adderall helped me with. Since I'll probably stay on Marplan longer, perhaps I can add another stimulant like Provigil which I believe can be combined with a MAO.

SG.
