Hey, vent as much as you need to..this is the place to do it, and it's obvious you NEED to! I really feel for you Linkagde, sounds like your Mom is in very bad spot. I understand how you feel..my Mom did the very same thing (similar anyway) only this was way back in 1972- 1975. She also started to drink beer (self-medicating) she also smoked heavily. Anyway she died in 1975 from what they said was heart failure. Like you, i was very angry at my Mom,she had gone from a beautiful productive person and wonderful mother, to an alcoholic very depressed and helpless women in a matter of 4 yrs. The thing that hurt me the most was her drinking which changed her whole personality. My little brother (then only 10 yrs. old) found her on the couch dead on the morning of Sept. 4, 1975 :( Now i'm venting..sorry. Take care Linkadge, and i will remember you and your Mom in my prayers.Monte
