I'd find that advice a bit insulting. It really is unfortunate to hear something like that after you've already spent so much time, energy, and money making appointments to brief the doc of your history. That is a real let-down. I saw one doctor probably 10x for help tapering off of Xanax. Everytime I saw him he kept asking me how the Klonopin was going. Sometimes he didn't even remember seeing me as a patient. Then the guy asks for medical records from other docs. Honestly, do doctors EVER read these before they see you? Make me jump through hoops to track down all my docs and go through the hassle of getting my records released for what? In any event, I'm sorry to hear about your visit with the doc. That can honestly be heartbreaking to walk out of there feeling that you've just been passed through. Assembly line medicine for ya! Hope you find a good one. Best regards. H. Upmann
