I don't know if I have depression or if ADs treat depression (whatever it is) but my experience with tianeptine has been that it worked immediately.
There was sometimes a sense of nervous irritation. But I'm able to get out of bed, and compose sentences and stuff like that.
I suppose I could even work?
Drugs that take 6 weeks to work? (are of no interest to me).
But anyway, maybe you've got something else to me? Maybe you have a really low mood that takes a long time to lift?
I could describe myself as somewhat anguished and socially useless. Tianeptine has been good for that.
It feels sex neutral, or even better. It's a better AD than low dose deprenyl.
My sleep is still a disaster, but I see that along with mood as being an indicator of rotten health somewhere, somehow. So I have stopped drinking.
If I manage to give up benzos and the few molecules of methadone I'm still on, my sleep, mood, and mental state might well improve.
