You didn't mention Zoloft, but my guess is that you would have the same problems you do with Celexa because they are both SSRIs. However, it is a good drug that might be worth trying. You could try the EMSAM patch, I suppose. I do not believe this drug is associated with weight gain, but you would be taking an MAOI. Desipramine and Vivactil are two tricyclics that have a low incidence of weight gain, but they have many other side effects. They are not too bad as far as sexual side effects, however, because they are not SSRIs.You could also try adding a stimulant to the Celexa such as Ritalin that might help with your weight issues and perhaps have some positive sexual effects.
