valpromide + borderline

Posted by petrossa on August 2, 2006, at 7:40:14

My wife suffers from severe bpd, her psy has proscribed valpromide with effexor. Though indeed the extreme effects of borderline are less, she suffers from the side-effects, to a degree it is hard for her to sustain the treatment. Worst are: severe heartburn in the morning, unable to urinate normally, and fatique. Is this something that will pass or should she consider talking to her psy for another treatment?
