Since about one month I am taking Dibenzepine an old TCA called Noveril for trade name. First I felt sedated but now I feel better, better mood and fewer anxiety. I am taking 240 mg TR (timed release) twice daily. It is pretty lacking of most side effects other TCAs are showing! Trimipramine, Amitryptiline and Nortryptiline were nothing for me but this one is worth a try! I took most of the SSRIs, Venlafaxine (with three years of success) and Mirtazapine with moderate success alone. Only combos brouhgt me better results. Now I take Noveril along with Lithium (since 5 years) and Cymbalta 60 mg a day. Cymbalta didnt work alone with Lithium - I went up to 90 mg but nothing better. So adding a TCA to an SNRI or an SSRI can be really successfull.
just for your information - because sharing experiences can bring as light at the end of the tunnel

p.s. Dibenzepine is acting in a way like an SNRI but with affinity to other receptors - so we dont call it an SNRI (due to lack of selectivity). Beside other TCAs it is more selective and thats the reason for the relative good side effect profile.
