That's been my experience, too (whenever I try to go on an SSRI)! It's not just heat intolerance during the warm months, but at night when I sleep--the sweats! the sweats! Does anyone have any remedies for that? I mean, the sweltering in the city (I live in the NYC area) without a fan can be quite intolerable. I become quite the little furnace.

Is that bad for a person? I sometimes wonder. And, it's funny, I've never really taken my temp at any of those times. So I wonder if it's associated with feverishness. I dunno.

Mystery.

p.s. And one of the enduring mysteries for me is that somehow Effexor is supposed to treat hot flashes but apparently decided to give me (then, a mid-twentysomething) nightsweats.
