Hi Tepi,
Are you taking the Nardil on a daily basis? I don't think the benzo is going to be much help for atypical depression. It can help get you through the tough times until the other medication starts to work. I have started Nardil again and titrated up to 90mg pretty fast. I believe that my worst depression is starting to lift after about three weeks at this dosage. I really hope to get more relief until about six weeks. If at that point, my major depression is not gone, I will look into augmentation; maybe with Lamictal.

Is your depression diagnosed as atypical? Do you oversleep and overeat when depressed? If not, maybe you should look into a tricyclic, such as nortriptyline. They are generic and cheap. If your depression is bipolar, its a different ballgame; with completely different medication choices.
Good Luck,
Jedi
