Seroquel has only a half life of 6 hours which means that it may need a twice daily dose in some individuals -- most though on a high enough dose need only a single night time dosing.

And yes, Zyprexa can cause pseudoparkinsonism like I had mentioned -- it got to me that I couldn't function with power tools and other things that shake my hands to the point where all my fingers were shaking. It was too much. Disappointing because Zyprexa made benzodiazepines superfluous, it was calming.

There are similarities between Seroquel and Remeron in the 5HT blockade -- Remeron actually helped my disorder before I switched to Seroquel due to the massive weight gain.

Clozapine and Zyprexa are closely related but Clozapine has two major things against it -- one, 2% must discontinue because of low white blood cell counts, and there are other unpleasant side effects, I believe incontinence and various bodily symptoms that though it is a gold standard for some serious schizophreniform disorders, it is not without risk and heartache for the patient.
