How Can You Tell If A Rash Is From Boniva or Lamic

My doc prescibed boniva for osteporosis and one of the side effects is a rash and now I'm on the lamictal and one of the side effects is a rash so I would I know which med was causing it? The boniva you take once a month but it last for a whole month. Any answers. Love Phillipa
