meds and heat intolerance and sweating

Posted by River1924 on June 4, 2006, at 18:48:37

Hello Psychobabblers,

It seems like the last few summers I've been very intolerant of activity in warm conditions. I don't pass out or anything, I just feel miserable.

Will zoloft, dextroamphetamine, provigil, klonopin, wellbutrin, testosterone or razadyne do that? I take some herbs, too.

Or is it a symptom of atypical depression, anxiety, or EDS (narcolepsy without sleep attacks?)

Oddly, in the winter, I always have cold feet. For awhile I thought I had a low thyroid problem.

It got a lot worse last summer when I had numerous blood draws to reduce ferritin (a kind of iron.) I'm not sure if that is related. (At the time, I thought it was related to blood infections from all the poorly done needle pokes.)

Can one build up one's tolerance? Would blood thinners help or lots and lots of water? Or exercise?

Thanks, River.
