I'm prescribed 5mg (2-3 capsules per day). It's not really for ADD, but treatment resistant depression and negative obsessiveness.
To my surprise, amphetamines (started with Adderall) was the only thing that knocked out the obsessive thoughts and kept my mood more even.
I'm liking the Dexedrine more because my blood pressure was way higher on adderall.
Dexedrine feels just like adderall did minus the nastiness (occasional jitteriness, heart pounding and racing like mad)
