apparently it is not uncommon that hoarders are non-OCD, though there is a presumed relation in symptomologies there is showing to be a huge difference neurologically. the hoarding syndrome with it's rigid pyschological factors, in and of itself, is completely expressed in me.
i have also seen psychologists for a long time. CBT has done nothing for any aspect of my life, and it seems i am often referred back to it simply for the sake of MDs being able to drop my case, rather than out of any actual feeling that it could help, as they tend to simply say it's due to my mysterious lack of co-operation and refuse to elaborate further.
