My doctor suggested that combo to me the other day. I'm not going to take it right now, but I might in the future. In the past, I was on Stattera monotherapy, and although it provided some benefits, it didn't do much for my ADD.

You asked whether the combination is contraindicated and, as 10derheart said, it depends on your brain and body chemistry. Each of us metabolizes drugs in our own unique way according to our genetic makeup. I'm terrible at drug combinations, yet I meet people here who take 5, 6 or more meds at a time. You have to experiment carefully at lower doses and see how you respond.
