able ran afoul of a lot of FDA quality regulations last spring and suspended operations pursuant to a bankruptcy filing, recalling all of their products in the process. in the USA, there's no generic desoxyn on the market now because able was the sole manufacturer. i think you're in the UK though, right? it's possible that there may be alternate manufacturers over there producing the generic version.....and it will probably return to the US market at some point in the future after another drug company picks it up.
