Safe to combine Cymbalta with Prozac?

Hello,
I'm currently taking Cymbalta 30 mgs. (along with Eskalith 600 mg for bipolar II) I am not able to tolerate 60 mgs. of Cymbalta due to heart palpitations. My doctor recently added 10 mgs. prozac to the mix to help my residual depression. Are these safe to combine? He did mention a rare possibility of serotonin syndrome but the doses are farely low. Any info?
