My anxiety is settled a bit but the depression is BAD? I'm just wondering if this is supposed to work yet?

Hi.Yes, I had a problem taking Vicoden with meds. However, I did not take it as prescribed. I took more than prescribed, recreationally. Once or twice a month. It made my depression much worse when I took it (not while I was on it and high but for several days afterwards). I think the Soma could contribute to depression as well. All muscle relaxers make me somewhat depressed, even when taken as prescribed or less. Narcotics made me feel great while I was on them but I can't tell you how miserable I would be for days afterward. I would take maybe 7- 8 10mg Vicoden in a day. And then not again for a couple of weeks. It really messed me up.
I didn't experience any drug interaction problems.
Have you looked at any other methods of dealing with the pain? Like physical therapy or a TENS unit? Those may not be enough if you are in severe pain but for a depressed person, it's probably better not to use CNS depressants any more than necessary.
My AD's during this time were (at different times) Effexor, Cymbalta and Celexa.
Hope this helps a little.
