As for my personal experience, it causes tachycardia (racing pulse) initially and then starts making me drowsy up to two hours later.
I dunno about 75mg but I wouldnt take any much more personally; all anticholinergics possess atropine (belladonna) like side effects and eventually one could reach a dose where one is spaced out and paranoid.
You just may not be a responder for this particular side effect (remember you are taking it for a side effect, its an antihistamine) of the medication or a very fast metabolizer.
